The Costa Rican Tourism Board and the Secretariat for the Americas of the International Social Tourism Organisation – ISTO Americas, have the pleasure of presenting you the activity program prepared especially for the members of the ISTO as part of the Encuentro de las Américas de Turismo Social (Meeting of the Americas on Social Tourism).
The purpose of the Encuentro is to spread good practices of ISTO members on the American continent regarding social, fair and sustainable tourism, which will be possible as part of the Seminar -Tourism and sustainability: rights, access and current challenges for Social Tourism”. Moreover, the event seeks to bring together the members and offer them an additional exchange space, to encourage and develop social tourism in the region, through collaboration and innovation. The ISTO members of the Americas will take advantage of the Encuentro to meet at their Annual General Assembly and will conclude their stay with the opportunity to take part in technical visit in Costa Rica.
